A few days ago I had a fun day out with my sister. We day tripped to Baltimore, Maryland in search of good shopping and great food. We were craving seafood and we happened upon an amazing restaurant, Loch Bar, located at the Four Seasons Hotel at the Inner Harbor.
Loch Bar has a nice outdoor seating area on the water with beautiful French bistro style decor inside. The forecast was calling for thunder storms so we opted for a table indoors. Loch Bar is known for its raw bar and array of delicious seafood dishes. I’ve been on a Korean BBQ kick lately, so we agreed to order the Grilled Skirt Steak Lettuce Wraps appetizer. It was presented with iceberg lettuce cups, Korean bbq marinade, cucumber, Daikon kimchi, and Ssamjang dipping sauce. The skirt steak was prepared perfectly and my sister kept mentioning how amazing the Korean bbq marinade tasted. (She now understand why I’ve been on a Korean bbq kick!) I’ve had many lettuce wraps in my foodie life and Loch Bar takes the cake with this unique and addicting blend of spices.
For our main course we each ordered their famous Lobster Rolls. I will admit, I haven’t had many lobster rolls in my life, but I do believe I have found THE BEST at Loch Bar. Each roll contained huge lightly buttered lumps of lobster and claw meat. The roll itself was definitely made with love as well. My sister and I agreed the dough had a hint of sweetness, almost like pretzel and it was toasted not too much, not too little, but just right.
Now that I think I’ve had the BEST lobster roll, I’m curious to know if anyone agrees or disagrees. Check out Loch Bar during your next trip to Baltimore and drop me a comment below or on my Instagram. Where is your favorite place to have lobster rolls?
