I first heard of Barton G while watching one of my guilty pleasures , The Real Housewives of Orange County. The ladies looked like they were having a blast, so I just KNEW my husband and I had to check it out for ourselves! Barton G has 2 locations, L.A. & Miami, and we recently had the pleasure of visiting their Miami location during a night on the town.
Barton G definitely takes the boring out of dining with their amazingly creative cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Each menu item ordered is presented in a shocking and crazy way that will keep you talking about it all year long. I don’t want to give away all of their surprises, but I will share with you a few of the delicious menu items we tried!
THE DEVIL’S EGG : (White truffle whipped deviled eggs, togarashi bacon crumble, crisp garlic, fresh black truffles, & garden herbs) Presented in a large wooden crate complete with a hen and white smoke rolling into the air! (Please forgive the picture quality! It was a little dark in the room for effect! )
LAUGHING BIRD POPCORN SHRIMP: (Crispy rock shrimp, sweet & spicy chilli sauce, and popcorn) Presented in an actual popcorn machine! It was soooo cool!
AND DRUM ROLL………
DOLLA DOLLA BILLS Y’ALL!: (MEGA RICH chocolate ganache and dulce de leche tart, under a gold brick shell. Graham cracker crust, soft meringue, chocolate-fueilletine golden nuggets) This one was our favorite! To our surprise, our waitress equipped herself with a welding helmet and TORCHED the golden shell until it melted, revealing the delicious chocolate ganache cake! INSANE! Check out the video below to see it in action.
I hope this little sneak peak encourages you to check out Barton G restaurant during your next trip to Miami or L.A.! It is the dining experience of a lifetime!
