Planning a drive down the Florida Keys? Here are 5 reasons you should definitely stop at the amazing Robbie’s on your way to Key West…
Robbie’s Bloody Mary’s are garnished with Florida Key Shrimp, Celery, Spicy Green Beans, Lemon, Lime, a crispy strip of Bacon, AND a delicious Spicy Beef Stick Straw! Enjoy a delicious beverage at Robbie’s outdoor deck and watch the brave souls feed the Tarpon.
One can easily spend a whole day at Robbie’s enjoying all of the activities they offer. Tarpon feeding is the fan favorite because hundreds of huge, hungry Tarpon wait at the docks to be fed. Entry to the docks is only $2.00 per person and it’s $3.00 for a bucket of fish. It is a blast watching the brave souls feed the hungry Tarpon from Robbie’s restaurant deck. Next time I promise I’ll try it!
Witness beautiful Brown Pelicans and White Ibis just steps from your dinner table. You’re always entertained while at Robbie’s.
If you haven’t tried it, you must! Delicious locally caught conch shell meat deep fried and served with with a spicy aioli and potato chips. If you’re looking to splurge they also serve Florida Keys Stone Crab Claws at market price which are sure to please! Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails Robbie’s has something for everyone.
If you start in Miami, FL like my husband and I did, driving to Key West takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes. Robbie’s of Islamorada is half way there, which makes it the perfect pit stop! Stop in to stretch your legs, grab a bite, and get into something fun while you’re at it. Next stop- Key West!
